Detailed Itinerary
Starts From Nairobi
Day 1: Departure to Masai Mara
Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, arriving at your lodge or camp in Masai Mara in time for lunch. After lunch and some relaxation, embark on your first thrilling afternoon game drive in Masai Mara. Explore the vast savannahs and rolling hills, home to abundant wildlife including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino). Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara
Spend the day exploring Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness the incredible diversity of wildlife and stunning landscapes, with opportunities to see predators in action and the annual wildebeest migration (seasonal). Enjoy picnic lunches in the wild or return to your lodge for meals and relaxation between drives. In the evening, relax around the campfire and listen to the sounds of the African bush.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, depart Masai Mara and head towards Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch at a lakeside lodge. In the afternoon, take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha to explore its tranquil waters and observe hippos, birdlife, and other wildlife along the shores. Visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Morning Activities and Return to Nairobi
Start your day with an optional early morning nature walk or bird watching activity around Lake Naivasha. After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for some final photos.
